1953 Johnson Supply was founded as a HVACR parts distributor by Carl I. Johnson Sr.
1955 Expanded operations outside the Houston area with the opening of the Beaumount location.
1965 Established the central distribution concept used today with the opening of the Houston, Stoney Brook location.
1975 In addition to parts, became an equipment distributor with the opening of a major warehouse facility at Minimax, Houston.
1981 On-line and interactive computer information system installed providing real time customer services.
1983 Established a consolidated corporate headquarters and distribution center used today at Houston, Stella Link.
1988 Became exclusive territory distributor for York residential and commercial equipment and expanded operations into Louisiana at Lake Charles and Lafayette.
1997 Became exclusive territory distributor for York residential and commercial equipment in central and south Texas and expanded operations into Austin and San Antonio.
1998 Opened first south Texas branch serving the valley located in McAllen
1999 Opened branches in Corpus Christi, Waco and Humble
1999 November, became exclusive territory distributor for York commercial and residential equipment in the Dallas and Fort Worth Metroplex. Expanded operations with branch locations in Carrollton, Garland, and Fort Worth.
2000 Relocated our Fort Worth location and expanded our Clute location
2003 Launched an employee training program to develop our skills on all segments of business including products, financial, operations, human resources, leadership, sales and marketing, so we can assist our customers in their business.
2003 Relocated to our Studemont location and expanded our Austin location.
2004 Relocated McAllen to our Pharr location.
2006 Expanded our Beaumont and Roxburgh locations.
2006 Revamped our www.johnsonsupply.com website to add additional features and value for our customers.
2007 Implemented HARDI Counter Recognition Program.
2010 Added Mitsubishi Electric as our premier Ductless equipment line.
2013 Opened our Allen location in the DFW Metroplex, relocated our Studemont location to Shepherd Drive in Houston, relocated our Lafayette location and relocated our Corpus Christi location. Launched our Ecommerce site and received our first internet order. 2014 Replaced our major Unitary equipment supplier and began distributing HVAC equipment manufactured by Allied Air Enterprises, a Lennox International company. Products are supplied with the Armstrong Air, Ducane, Magic Pak and Allied Commercial name brands.
2015 Added Fujitsu General America's Airstage VRF line to our arsenal of commercial products to allow continual growth in all HVACR markets.
